Dear all,
 
Today, we have an official release date to share with you: Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on September 17, 2013.
 
We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.
 
To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be. We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience.

    Hey all, we understand many of you guys are disappointed with this news – unfortunately sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment, and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV. However this does not give you free reign to be abusive in comments. The general rules of common courtesy, decency and behavior as listed above the Comment Box still apply here, therefore anyone continuing to post abusive comments will have their privileges suspended.

    Also:

    To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.

    For those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well.

      I just wanted to point out to you guys that if you are planning on waiting for a X1 or a P4 release for this game, simply don' do it and buy for current-gen... Because as the X1 is concerned, none of the games for X360 will work because it uses x86 architecture so this game will probably require new coding and if not an entire retooling...

      So yea, I'm not an expert but I was one of the few that wants to wait for a next-gen release.

          also, please don't do the same thing again by taking out all the good cars out of the multiplayer in GTA IV, I don't want to see the same thing happen again in GTA V, You need to put all of the cars that we see in single player mode onto the online free roam. This is why i notice hackers mod your game so they can spawn all the cars in the game that has not been seen on free roam. You also need to add more design on the vehcial because it looks boring to have one color without vinyals...I notice the only vinylas you have in the game is a cop car that has stripes on them,,,,taxi as well that has sticker on the back not enough,,,you need to add miltary suit for use to wear, we want army pants and army jacket with a army hat that can be tilt backward or front or sideways, we also want black sunglasses and big thick black boot also don't forget to add the black gloves in our hand so we can look even more bad ass. You need to come up with more clothing design and car design,, give it a more impression instead of having us wearing plain clothes

WE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL Want a big ass super heavy duty car that can crush any god damn police cars and even citizen that will bust the glass out of the market. PLEASEEEEEEEEE I'm begging you, once it done. Upload another video to show prove that you have the monster truck in the game,,,we all wanna see it, We all know you can make a bad ass monster truck that will make us drop our underwear to the floor! and be but naked to see this

              Wow, how was I trying to help arrogant kids of how to modify GTA IV. I made a long list of good explaination about how GTA IV has been f**k up with a bunch of scumbags using mods and you wanna continue to delete my post. Go ahead man. My biggest prediction about GTA V is goanna be worst. I already know there's listeners on board listening to everything what rockstargame have to say out of thier mouth. To be honest, you have no idea that you have a couple of hackers who work for rockstargames that is planning to spread those file to the public so it can be f**k again.

                    for PC-Version (but I tink it will be worth to wait about).
                    But I can't wait, we wait for it since GTA IV were out. Many
                    fans from part San Andreas was disappointing and wait
                    for a comparable part. But I don't make a comparison in
                    GTA parts, but GTA V will be different to that, course there
                    will be similarities like old Gangs from TLAD - S-A- and
                    stuff. I love it already^^

                    I am strained about how the sect/cult- kiflom is involved in
                    the story^^ I just say *lol*

                        paint, new wheels, tints windows, grilles, spoilers. High suspension to the engine and the brakes may also be made.
                        the weapons can also be customized with laser sights, silencers, scopes and high capacity magazines
                        you can customize with haircuts, new clothes, and tattoos
                        you can also buy a property, homes, garages and businesses can be bought for sources of extra revenue.
